1. Song → Timeline shows the song from start to end: parts across the top, instruments below.
  2. Add a part to the song places it in the order. Select a part to move it earlier or later, copy it, or remove it.
  3. Each block shows what plays in it — the beat's hits, the synth's notes, the chord names — so you can see everything line up bar by bar.
  4. Tap an instrument's block to leave it out of that part — drums out for the intro is a classic move.
  5. Tempo & levels gives one part its own tempo, turns instruments down, or fades in or out.
  6. Fill at the End gives a part's last bar a drum fill leading into what comes next: Make a Fill From the Beat writes one for you (the hats stop, the snare and toms roll in), A Fill Before Every Chorus puts it everywhere it's needed, or choose a scene to take the last bar from.
  7. Loop This Part plays one part over and over while you work on it.
  8. Tap a bar number to play from there.
  9. Tap a recording to choose it: drag to move it, drag its edges to trim it, and its buttons split it, record it again, or Put on a Pad — a copy of what it plays, as a Sampler pad's sound to chop, play on keys or put in the beat.
  10. Pinch to zoom, or use the magnifiers: Show the whole song fits it on the screen. Shorter or taller rows show more instruments, or more of each one.
  11. Draw volume, then drag across a row to draw how loud it plays over the song — the top is as you mixed it, the bottom is silent. Draw a slow rise in the intro, a dip under the vocal, a fade at the end. Volume lines play every time and go into what you share. Tap Draw volume again to finish; Volume lines → Clear takes one away.
  12. Not sure of the order? Play Parts Live (on the Song screen) lets you try it out by ear and keep what works.
