1. In Beginner: Beatbox a beat on the Beat page. In the studio: the ⋯ beside Tap In | Play Live on the Beat screen → Beatbox a Beat. In Quick Song, on the beat step. In a Song Idea, on the beat's page.
  2. Tap record. After the count-in, beatbox for the bars shown: "b" or "boots" is a kick, "k", "psh" or "cats" a snare, "ts" a hi-hat.
  3. Here's what you played shows the hits it heard. Hear It With the Song plays it in your song; Try Again listens again in one tap.
  4. Use It writes them onto the kick, snare and hi-hat — the rest of the beat stays as it is.
  5. Just for one part: in Beginner, tap a part at the top of your song, Record a piece → Beatbox a beat. It becomes that part's own beat (its bar says Beatboxed Chorus Beat), and you choose where else it plays.
