1. Song → Chart. Start with a verse and chorus, or sing, play or type lyrics and let Blackcap lay out the parts.
  2. Each part (Verse, Chorus, Bridge…) has bars. Progression fills them with a chord pattern; + Chord adds one by hand.
  3. Type lyrics under each bar, or use Sing to speak or sing them in.
  4. Chords play makes the chord player accompany the chart; its settings choose the sound and style (hold, strum, pulse, arpeggio).
  5. A song made in Quick Song has a band: Band (under the key) changes its style and how hard it plays — see Playing Along With a Band.
  6. Transpose moves the whole song up or down — key, chords and synth notes — to suit a voice.
  7. Song Sheet makes a page of your chords above your words, to print or send to your band.
