Ideas come before songs. Song Ideas keeps them in one place until you're ready: each idea is one thing, caught in a few seconds, with nothing else in the way.
- Open ⋯ → Song Ideas (it's also at the top of your Songs list).
- Pick what you've got: Words, Sing or Hum, Play a Riff, Keys, A Beat or Chords.
- Catch it. Words get a notepad; Sing or Hum and Play a Riff are one big record button with no click — like a voice memo; Keys, A Beat and Chords open the same simple pages Beginner uses.
- Tap the name at the top to give it a name. It's saved as you go — tap ‹ Ideas when you're done.
- Back in Song Ideas, every idea waits for you: tap one to open it, or ⋯ to rename it or delete it.
- When it's ready to grow, tap Turn into a Song. It moves to your Songs and carries on like any song — words are laid out as a verse and a chorus with chords that fit.
